Veterans Travel for Free on ANZAC Day 2019

24 April, 2019 –

TransLink is running extra morning services this ANZAC Day to help patrons pay their respects to Australia’s servicemen and women, past and present.

As a mark of respect, veterans wearing their uniform or service medals on ANZAC Day travel free across all TransLink bus, train, ferry and tram services in South East Queensland.

There’s also free ANZAC Day travel for family members wearing service medals, as well as for kids who are representing Scouts, Girl Guides and military associations (and who are participating in the ceremonies in their official uniform).
