Thriving Cohesive Communities grants

Applications are now open for the second tranche of the Thriving Cohesive Communities (TCC) grants. These grants provide funding for projects that strengthen social connections and promote opportunities for economic inclusion:

There are three streams available for application.

  1. Community-led social cohesion planning and action: Grants of up to $400,000 will be available for local partners to facilitate community-led social cohesion planning and activities. Priority locations for this stream include Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Townsville.
  2. Pathways to economic inclusion: Grants of up to $120,000 will be available for projects that enable social enterprises to provide vulnerable young people and family members with jobs and skill development opportunities.
  3. Engaging young people to become global citizens: Grants of up to $70,000 will be available for projects that assist people in positions of influence (faith and cultural communities, sporting and interest clubs) to positively engage with young people on topics of diversity, inclusion and social cohesion.

Applications for Stream 2 will close at 2pm on Friday, 14 February 2020.

Applications for Streams 1 and 3 will close at 2pm on Friday, 28 February 2020.
