3 October, 2018 –
As part of scheduled track maintenance, Queensland Rail will temporarily close Silvester Street, between Newmarket Road and Eildon Road, Wilston this weekend – Saturday and Sunday, 6/7 October.
Traffic management, including detour signage, will be in place to direct road users.
During this time:
- Access to Eagers and Officeworks will be maintained from Newmarket Road.
- Residents will still be able to exit from Harle Avenue on to Silvester Street as normal.
- Pedestrians will be escorted under the bridge by traffic controllers. There may be some short delays at times, if work above needs to be stopped for safety reasons.
Nearby residents may experience some extra noise while the works take place.
