We love our teachers. They are dedicated and passionate. They know that students learn best when they are challenged and interested. Which is why every day, Queensland teachers are creating engaging opportunities for their students.
State Education Week (20-26 October) is a celebration of Queensland state education – a time for our schools to showcase to the community the exciting learning happening throughout the year.
State schools across Queensland have organised exciting events to share with their local community members—demonstrating the creativity, innovation and learning our schools deliver.
World Teachers Day – 25 October
Celebrated in more than 100 countries world-wide, World Teachers’ Day was established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in 1994 to recognise the role of teachers in society.
World Teachers’ Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and thank Queensland teachers for the important role they play across our state – inside our classrooms and out in the community.
