12 November, 2019 –
Do you have an idea for a project, event, or activity to raise awareness around sexual violence across Queensland communities?
Applications are now open for grants of up to $15,000 to undertake activities or develop resources during Sexual Violence Awareness Month (October) 2020.
Be creative! There was a wide variety of projects from last year’s grant recipients –morning teas, an album produced by sexual violence survivors, and local awareness campaigns like the ‘Got Consent?’ project by True who are a Cairns-based sexual assault service.
For a list of 2018-19 funded activities and more information on the 2020 grants visit www.qld.gov.au/svpgrants
Applications close at 5.00pm on 31 January 2020.
