Queensland Seniors Week, 17-25 August 2019, provides great opportunities to connect with people of all ages.

Here is a list of activities in our local area for you to enjoy:

Tai Chi

Tuesday 20 August, 8.30-9.30am
at Huxtable Park, 61 Maundrell Tce, Chermside West.

Give it a Go! Burnie Brae

Wednesday 21 August, 8am-12 noon
at 60 Kuran St, Chermside.
Cost: $10, incl. morning tea and all activities. Get active and get involved!

Australian Army Band

Friday 23 August, 11am-12:15pm
at Kedron-Wavell Services Club, 21 Kittyhawk Drive Chermside.
Repertoire ranges from traditional big band sounds through to pop and rock hits.

Rhythm and Sounds

Sunday 25 August, 2-5:30pm
at Kedron-Wavell Services Club, 21 Kittyhawk Drive, Chermside.
An enchanting afternoon of music, food and dancing. Enjoy a high tea with choc hazelnut torte, savoury quiches and delicious jam and cream scones.

Stafford’s The Community Place has two venues. One here in Stafford and the other at Kalinga. The Kalinga venue will host a different activity every weekday during Seniors Week. Give them a call on 3357 1157 to find out more.
