Having a will is important for anyone over 18 – dying without one places an extra burden on your loved ones.
This Queensland Wills Week, take some time to check your will is valid, safely stored and up-to-date.
Wills also need to be updated after major life events, such as getting married, entering a de facto relationship, divorce, birth of a child or grandchild, and changes to your assets.
The Public Trustee of Queensland has a free will-making service. If you’d like to find out more, drop by the Public Trustee’s information stand this Tuesday and Thursday (3rd & 5th September) at Brisbane City Hall in the CBD.
