The Queensland: an age-friendly community action plan was released this week. The Queensland Government is committed to building an age-friendly state where Queenslanders regardless of their age, can stay active and connected, and contribute economically, socially and culturally.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the consultations that were held earlier this year. Your contribution helped shape the action plan, which outlines our priorities, initiatives and services that contribute to building age-friendly communities.
We can’t achieve this alone so we’re calling on all Queenslanders, communities, governments and sectors to work together to make Queensland a great place to live and work, raise a family and grow older.
