3 September, 2019 –
Eligible students in Years 8 to 11 from state and non-state schools right across Queensland are invited to apply through their school for the 2020 Premier’s Anzac Prize.
This annual prize provides a life-changing opportunity for eight high school students to experience the Anzac tradition first-hand and how the Anzac legacy relates to modern Australian life.
Each school may nominate up to two students. Successful students and two teacher chaperones will take part in a 4-5 months research program prior to going on a 16-day tour of important memorial sites in London and the Western Front battlefields in France and Belgium, in April/May 2020.
RSL Queensland is a proud partner in this program and is also the major sponsor of the Premier’s Anzac Prize for the next 3 years, 2020 to 2022.
Applications for the 2020 prize close 5pm Friday 20 September 2019.
