Palaszczuk Government partners with Alzheimer’s Australia to support community

The Palaszczuk Government is partnering with Alzheimer’s Australia (Qld) to help Queenslanders with dementia who become disoriented or lost.

The initiative proves bracelets to people living with Alzheimer’s. Each bracelet is engraved with an individual code. Police can access information about the person using this code and get them back home quickly and safely.

The bracelets are really helpful for people with dementia who are at risk of becoming disoriented or lost.

To register for the Safely Home program, or for more information call the National Dementia Helpline 1800 100 500.
