New user friendly Gambling Community Benefit Fund applications

Grange Bowls successfully applied for $16,500 to install a new solar system earlier this year.

21 November 2016 –

The Queensland Government has launched a new system for processing Gambling Community Benefit Fund applications.

The next round (round 91, closing on 13 January 2017) will be the first to use the new, simpler to use system.

The changes will reduce the amount of time it takes to apply for a grant and to acquit a successful application.

The new system is all about making it easier for groups to apply for, and acquit funding grants – so they can spend less time managing grants and more time working with their community.

Stafford and District Meals on Wheels successfully applied for nearly $17,000 for new equipment.
