New online tool for reporting domestic and family violence

New Queensland Police Service online tool for reporting domestic and family violence

23 April, 2020 –

Queensland Police Service have introduced an online contact option for reporting domestic and family violence for people who may be in a situation where it is unsafe to call such as isolation due to COVID-19.
This new reporting mechanism is available now at www.police.qld.gov.au/domestic-violence

Please remember:

  • Call Triple Zero (000) if domestic violence is occurring right now or someone is in immediate danger;
  • If you can safely call, do not use the online/SMS options – phone Policelink on 131 444.

A link to the Queensland Government’s Domestic Violence Portal can be accessed via the site as well as contact details for support services.
