New FairPlay Vouchers to help cover costs of kids’ sports fees

FairPlay vouchers - Round 1

29 July, 2019 –

The Palaszczuk Government is proud to deliver Round 1 of the new FairPlay Vouchers which opens on Wednesday 31 July!

These replace the ‘Get Started’ vouchers. If you have a Centrelink health care card, a pensioner card, or have a combined annual family income less than $55,000, you could be eligible for a $150 voucher to help cover the costs of your children’s sport fees.

With over $1.7 million in sports vouchers for 12,000 Queenslanders, this investment will help local kids (5-17 years) to get involved in sport and active recreation.

Queensland’s first ever ten-year Sport and Active Recreation Strategy is soon to be released, and with it a whole suite of measures to support local clubs and groups and encourage participation.
