Need a hand with sports club fees? FairPlay vouchers round 2 now open

FairPlay sports vouchers round 2

21 January, 2020 –

Round 2 of the Palaszczuk Government’s new $150 FairPlay Vouchers (which used to be called “Get Started” Vouchers) will be available from Wednesday 22 January for children to get out and active with our support.

If you have a Centrelink health care card, a pensioner card, or have a combined annual family income less than $55,000, you could be eligible for a $150 voucher to help cover the costs of your children’s sport fees.

With close to $7 million in sports vouchers for 46,000 Queenslanders, this investment will help local kids between the ages of 5-17 years to get active and involved in sport.

The Palaszczuk Government has proudly invested almost $36 million in the sports support program since 2015, with an incredible 302,523 including this round of vouchers distributed.

FairPlay Vouchers are allocated on a first come, first served basis and they go quickly – I encourage eligible families to apply right away.

There is a limit of 1 voucher per child/young person per calendar year.
