Ignite Ideas grants for small businesses and start-ups

27 September, 2019 –

Got a ground-breaking idea that’s market ready?

Round 6 of Advance Queensland’s Ignite Ideas fund is now open, with project grants of up to $200,000 available to advance innovative products and services.

The program targets businesses with fewer than 200 staff that have a suitable working prototype that is ready to be turned into commercial reality.

So far, Ignite Ideas funding has supported over 270 Queensland businesses across a broad range of sectors – including tourism, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, engineering, renewable energy, information technology, virtual reality, safety and construction.

Previous Stafford recipients include Skynet Satellite Communications at Newmarket, for development of their XDI aviation data integration project; and De Motu Cordis Ltd at The Prince Charles Hospital, for their epihaler project to assist anaphylaxis sufferers.

Submissions close at 10am, 14 October 2019 (AEST).
