Congratulations to local successful recipients in Round 101 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF):
- Our Lady of the Angels Primary School P&F Association at Wavell Heights received $35,000 grant to upgrade the surfaces of the school’s playground;
- Parkinson Fighters United received $4,390 to host an educational event;
- Gold Crest Cricket Club at Finsbury Park, Newmarket received $34,299 for a new pitch roller.
GCBF grants range from $500 to $35,000 each round and are available to not-for-profit organisations to provide much needed cash injections for community projects that might otherwise be out of reach.
GCBF Round 103 is now open and will close at 11:59pm on 31 October 2019.
