Do Something - Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month 2018

2 May, 2018 –

As a surgeon I often saw the disastrous effects of Domestic and Family Violence.

May is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month – although we speak out strongly against domestic and family violence as a society, it continues because, as individuals, we often choose to stay silent.

Domestic and family violence won’t go away by itself – it’s up to us as everyday Queenslanders to do something to break the cycle – to take responsibility for learning the signs and taking action to stop domestic and family violence.

Go to www.qld.gov.au/dosomething to learn how and when to do something.
