The Palaszczuk Labor Government’s $10 million Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas fund provides a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get their innovative ideas off the ground.
Many local businesses have great ideas but need help commercialising them. The Ignite Ideas fund is part of the Queensland Labor Government’s Advance Queensland innovation and jobs initiative. This initiative is all about helping businesses get products to market faster, boosting business growth, and creating jobs for Queenslanders.
Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas funding is aimed specifically at startups and small to medium-sized enterprises with early prototype ideas boasting enough features to support testing and further development on the path to market readiness.
Local eligible businesses can apply for funding support of up to $250,000.
Our funding is designed to help businesses get through the difficult early stages of developing ideas and proofs of concept.
We want to target key industries, such as agriculture, spatial technology, and app development, where Queensland has a competitive advantage.
Information on how to apply for Ignite Ideas funding can be found on the Advance Queensland website www.advanceqld.initiatives.qld.gov.au.
If you are interested in applying for the Ignite Ideas funding please contact my office, I would love to speak with you about your ideas.
