Al Gore to conduct climate leadership training in Brisbane

Climate Reality Project

14 December, 2018 –

Former US Vice President Al Gore will visit Brisbane next year to conduct climate change leadership training for up to 1,000 people from across Australia and the Pacific.

This three-day event will take place at the Brisbane Convention Centre from 5-7 June 2019 and will be run by the Climate Reality Project.

This major event will provide the skills for business and community leaders to influence the community to take action on climate change.
Queensland is an active member of the Under2 Coalition, a group of like-minded sub-national governments around the world who are committed to keeping warming to below 2 degrees.

The training will be free of charge and is expected to attract around 5,000 applicants, with between 800 and 1,000 people selected to take part.
