28 February, 2019 –
I want to encourage as many students as possible in the Stafford area to take part in the third annual Premier’s Coding Challenge.
This year’s challenge is looking for projects that raise awareness about cybersafety and the importance of our digital footprint – this could be an app, game, animation, website, or even a robotic prototype.
Last year, we saw a big increase in entries and we’d like to see even more this year. It’s also a fun way to attract more students to studying STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Students can enter as individuals, or team up with a friend and enter as a pair.
Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges from government, education and industry and there’s $10,000 in coding and robotic kit prizes up for grabs for the winning students.
Entries close 2 September 2019.
