Five extra police have taken up positions in Brisbane’s Northside’s over the last few weeks. They are part of a group of 55 new state wide.
Graduating as First Year Constables, the new police have completed 25 weeks of intensive training at the Queensland Police Academy and are now working under the supervision of more experienced senior officers.
The 55 new recruits have been positioned right across Queensland including two at Fortitude Valley Police Station, three at Brisbane City Station, and one at Stafford Station.
